About Me · The Person Behind the Work

Beyond the Numbers. Beyond the Title.

A multidisciplinary perspective shaped by business, technology, and the pursuit of meaningful impact.

I’m Kevin Wang, a Toronto-based business and technology professional with a background spanning financial services, pharmaceuticals, business analytics, and digital transformation.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with organizations including Novo Nordisk, RBC, BMO, and CIBC Mellon, gaining firsthand experience in how complex businesses operate, evolve, and make decisions. From financial risk and investment operations to enterprise analytics and digital transformation, my journey has taught me to look beyond individual functions and understand the bigger picture.

With a Master of Financial Insurance from the University of Toronto, I bring a foundation in analytical thinking, financial systems, and risk management. I’m particularly interested in the intersection of business strategy, emerging technologies, and data-driven decision-making — and how these disciplines can help organizations navigate uncertainty and unlock new opportunities.

Beyond the Professional

I’ve always believed that personal growth extends far beyond professional achievements.

Outside of work, my interests span entrepreneurship, financial markets, golf, sports, travel, and community involvement. Whether connecting with local business owners, participating in civic initiatives, or exploring new places and perspectives, I value experiences that challenge my thinking and broaden my understanding of the world.

I approach both business and life with the same philosophy: stay curious, think independently, embrace complexity, and never stop evolving.

Building clarity is what I do. Creating meaningful impact is what drives me.
